TEXTURISE (POLYESTER) YARN MANUFACTURING.

Manufacturing of polyester (texturise) yarn ( man-made).
There are different types of texturising and different process of producing texturised and synthetic yarn. The general process used in manufacturing texturised yarn in textiles known as a "Draw Texturising". The machine used is called Draw Texturising Mahine. This machine is easily available in market.
Description of Texturising Machine:-
The machine is consist of creels, provided for loading POY (filament) package, Draw roller (nip roller) which are mounted in order to give proper elongation to the POY in different  places, Ist at entrance above side in machine, 2nd one below the primary heater, and 3rd one is below secondary heater. Friction disc is  fixed in between primary and secondary heaters, to provide false twist to the yarn , cradles over the winding drum for placement of paper tube or cheese for ready package, this drum is given rotation from the side of machine through motor drive  timing belt.
There are different count( Denier of POy) is available to produce different Denier yarns. In  the textile industries most commonly used 150/155 and 80/85, Denier. To produce these two yarn POY used is 235/48 and 126/36 Denier respectively. The Denier 235/48 means , it contains 48 filaments in one strand and 235 is Denier and 126/36 means 36 filaments of 126 Denier in one strand of POY. There are are another types of POY is available for these two yarn is 235/34 and 126/34, for 150/155 and 80/85 Denier yarn respectively.
Working of a Texturising Machine:-
The POY received for producing texturised yarn in big boxes and containerd. It is opened and loaded on the creel provided in the texturising machine, then the starting end of POY filament is passed through guide and under Ist nip roller , through a guide to primary heater which is already heated at recommended temparature, then passed through friction disc(spindle) where a false twist is given to yarn then through  guide to 2nd nip roller and passed through Secondary heater which is already heated as per requirement, with the passage of yarn through heater fixed the twist (false) and next passed under the last (3rd) nip roller. Then after this the yarn is taken through traverse guide and wound over the final paper tube(cheese) which is mounted on cradle in the frame of the machine over a winding drum. This drum is rotated with the help of motor and timing belt . This motor and timing belts are given motion with electric supply from the starting side of the machine.
Completing all the above process the machine started to working (on) , after starting the machine all the moving accessories gets into action and the yarn is getting wounded on paper tube which is driven by winding drum . This drum is given  rotation (winding) with the help of timing belt and motor. As the required weight of the yarn is wounded on the package. The package taken out from the machine and a new paper tube is loaded so as to continue new winding of yarn on it. And the process continues for further production. The yarn taken out from the machine is given for checking, testing, elongation, strength and further process (twisting and dyeing).

The above produced yarn is a grey yarn if it it to be sold as it is. Then it is  packed in boxes, and given for sale to the market.
But if to produce the strong and dyed fabrics , then this grey yarn is given for further process twisting and dyeing for coloring yarn.
