TYPES OF YARN AND FIBER (COMBED YARN)

COMBED YARN:- 

Combed yarn is that has  straight and parallel fibers. The process via which the yarn are created results in smooth stronger and even  more compressed that is outstanding for weaving in  comparison to carded yarn. This particular yarn is a bit more expensive, because the weaving is a long time consuming process. Combing separates small fibers from elongated fibers . This procedure makes the yarn softer and smoother.

There are two procedure used in the combing process , linear and circular. Subsequent to the yarn being combed , it often goes a method which is known as gilling , this process makes the yarn appropriate for spinning. Yarn is carded before it's used , and eventually combed.

Characteristics of combed yarn.

2) Since it undergoes is much of hard machinery, it is actually strenthened and softer than the other , such as carded yarn. 

3) Since hard and lots of machines work is required in this case , henceforth combed yarn lot more expensive and over processed than carded yarn .

5) To stop over, combed yarn is also the best at materiel which can be worn against the skin. Because of its super fine and refined texture , materials made out of combe yarn can be easily worn and readily accepted as wear.

Properties of combed yarn.

1) In order to create yarn , the raw material or raw fiber are required to fluffed up and put into order before the spinning process.

2) Carding makes a some what fuzzier yarn. 

3) Combing  on the other hand , creates a softer and smoother yarn as the fibers are more in order or rather more alinged. Combing is again a more expensive process out of the two process involved , and also a higher content of waste is involved in it, than with carding .

Advantages and usage of combing yarn:-

1) Since manufactured in such a large and extensive extent  ,combed yarn are easily available with high delivery speed compared to carded yarn which are not that extensively used. Combed yarns are high in demand henceforth are easily available.

2) It's high demand also puts it at a low Production cost .

3) The yarn character is highly similar to the ring run yarn or other yarn. It's also very smooth easily wearable, there by making it highly reliable.

4) Fibers in this case do not wrap against each other. Henceforth it makes the best quality yarn to be produced for a daily needs. 

5) The yarn also appears to be smooth and is shape . These yarn have a perfect appearance and look absolutely appealing because of its easy and good quality.

6) Combed yarn is a far better than rotor spun yarn or carded yarn. To it over , easy to handle and better quality wise & well knitted garments are made of these combed yarn
