DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SECTIONAL WARPING & DIRECT/BEAM WARPING:-

Comparison between Sectional warping and Direct/Beam Warping Machine:-
The difference between both warping are as below:-
Features of Direct warping or Beam warping:-
1) Uniform tension in this warping.
2) Single yarn is used in warping.
3) Warp beam is produced after completing sizing process.
4) It provides higher amount of production.
5) Large amount of warp yarn is required.
6) Cheese or Cone winding package are used.
7) This process is cheap.
8) Creel capacity is greater 12000 .
9) The using of this process is very much.
10) Production speed is high.
11) It is used to produce warp beam for large amount of warp yarn.
12) Warping completes in one stage.
13) Cotton, linen, woolen and worsted yarn are processed by using this process.
14) It is popular process of warping.
Features of Sectional Warping:-
1) Uniform tension is not available.
2) Twisted yarn is used in warping.
3) Warp beam is produced after completion of warping process.
4) It provides low amount of production than a high speed warping.
5) Small amount of warp yarn required.
6) Flanged bobbin is used.
7) It is ultimately a costly process.
8) Creel capacity is ranging from 300 to 400.
9) It is not used as high speed warping.
10) Lower production speed than high speed warping process.
11) It is used to produce warp with small amount of warp yarn.
12) Warping process completed in two stages.
13) It is mostly used for man-made, filament and silk yarn.
14) It not popular as high warping speed warping.
The above given reasons is enough to differentiate.
 WARPING DEFECT OR FAULT:-
The main object of warping is to accelerate the next process for woven fabric manufacturing, such as (sizing, drafting, denting) in textile industry. If there is any fault produced , then total process will be hampered . Ultimately the required quality fabrics can't be achieved as its importance.
Faults and Remedies of Warping:-
The main faults of warping are given below ;
1) Crossed ends.
2) Snarl formation.
3) Hard beam.
4) Warp off center of the beam.
5) Missing ends.
6) Unequal warp length.
7) Uneven or ridgy warp beam.
8) Piecing.
9) Irregular yarn tension.
10) Conical winding on the beam.
All the above warping defects or faults have been explained in the following with their cause and remedies:-
(1) Crossed end.
 Causes:-
Loose warp.
Tying of broken ends.
Defective after breakage of yarn.
REMEDIES:-
Fault free knotting should be used.
 Tension should be controlled.
(2) Snarl formation.
Causes:-
Incorrect twist.
improper tension.
Guide position.
REMEDIES:-
 Twist should be perfect.
Correct tension must be applied.
(3) Hard beam.
Causes:-
Excessive tension.
Exvessive pressure.
REMEDIES:-
 Proper tension should apply.
Required pressure should be applied there.
(4) Warp off Center of the beam.
 Cause:-
Improper placing of creel and flange bobbin.
REMEDIES:-
Warp beam should be placed properly.
(5) Missing ends.
 Causes:-
Defective warp stop device.
Non appearance of bobbin or cone in creel.
Varied bobbin or package or cone.
REMEDIES:-
Fault free warp stop device should be used.
Proper appearance of bobbin or cone snon the creel.
(6) Unequal warp length.
 Cause:-
Defective measuring device.
REMEDY:-
Fault free measuring device should be used .
(7) Unequal ridgy warp beam.
 Causes:-
Small number of ends winding on lagre beam.
Mixing of count.
REMEDIES:-
High number of ends should be used
If possible.
Only one count of yarn should be used.
(8)Piecing.
Cause:-
Due to one broken end is preceed to another yarn end on the warper's beam.
REMEDY:-
Joint should be perfect there.
(9) Irregular yarn tension.
Cause:-
In correct threading of the yarn into tension device.
REMEDY:-
Perfect threading of the yarn should be done.
(10) Conical Winding.
Cause:-
Improper load applied by the pressure roller.
REMEDY:-
Pressure roller should be actual.
