Special Features and advantages of Ruti C looms:-
(1) The Laxmi Ruti C type automatic weaving machine, which has is modular construction, has a rigid box-types frame and various in-built special features. It surpasses any of the shuttle in its speed of operation, in reliability, and in the production of the highest quality fabrics. It also surpasses other shuttle looms in its versatility of application to the changes brought about by new fibers and by changing fashion. Since it’s introduction in 1967, these weavning machine are working all over the world . They have high productivity, high quality output and low cost operation. The maintenance of these machine is simple and the effectiency is high , as a 120 cm. wide loom runs at a speed of 248 picks per minute and a 180 cm. loom at 212 picks per minute. The loom widths available are from 100 cm. to 350 cm. and can weave single or multiple width fabrics.
These looms require good yarn, and what is important is good preparation.
(2) The C type weavning machine contains many new ideas. This high productivity weaving machine is capable of weaving a wide range of fabrics by means of positive shedding cams, dobbies, jacquard or terry motion. The conventional design ensures precise positioning of the bobbin for the change. The electric weft feeler affords a reliable bobbin change. The shuttle protector checks for correct boxing of the shuttle. The precision temple cutters leave clean selvedges. The special provision for single pick insertion makes the tuner’s and weaver’s job simpler. The down time of the loom is also reduced .
(3) A large warp beam diameter of 800 mm. reduces the number of beam outs and cuts down on loom down time. The large cloth roller diameter 570 mm. also assures long lengths of fabrics. A sensitive let-off motion and a positively gripped take-up motion by means of a large felt-covered draw roller gives a good cover and a good feel to the woven fabrics. There is also a provision for reverse motion.
(4) An effective center weft fork assure fault free cloth by eliminating broken picks. The electronic cum mechanical stopping devices , combined with brake and clutch drum, allow prompt and accurate stopping of the loom at predetermined position at any time However, a side weft fork motion is generally fitted to this loom.
(5) A newly designed selvedge motion offers very firm and perfect selvedge either 1/1 or 2/2 as required. A clamping collar is fitted in front at the cam shaft adjacent to the cam motion side for selvedge motion .
(6) The various loom settings are done by the dial readings giving precise loom position rather than the conventional loom crank centers. Once the basic settings are done and the loom is turned at beam fall , a trouble-free operation till the next beam fall results, with minimum attendance to tuning in between.
