The main objectives of wadded Bedford cord weaves are given below:

1) Wadded ends help to produce the fabric more economically.

2) Wadded ends increase the stability of the structure, warmth, and weight per meter of the fabric.

3)Wadded ends help to increase the prominence of the cord.

Method of Construction of Wadded bef Ford Cord Weave:-

1)  Separate healed shafts are used for wadding ends.

2) Wadding ends are lifted on the picks which float below the cord and lowered which intervene in plain fashion. 

3) A separate warp beam is used for wadding ends.
